Welcome to the world of Sixles, home of a long running 1st edition AD&D campaign since 1985. The Sixles campaign takes place on the North Aentic continent and has so far concentrated on 2 principal regions: the tri-city state area of Irilian, Sixles City and the Society of Advanced Thought, and the eastern european-flavored land far to the north known as the Gypsy Lands.
In 5 decades of playing and running games, I have found the playing of role-playing games and the creation of content for those games to be the greatest mental exercise ever devised by humankind. I’m an advocate for the development of chilren’s minds through the use of old-school Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, which teaches communication skills, leadership, organization, cooperation, critical thinking, math, language, graphic arts skills, map reading, and so many other skills that I can’t possibly name them all. And it does all of these things while providing an extremely enjoyable, engaging, and thought-provoking gameplay experience.
Below are several links, the first two of which form the centerpiece of this site: the world’s largest databases of magic items and monsters for old-school Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. In addition to several hundred of my own items and beasts, I have compiled lists, random tables and descriptions for 10,684 items and 2,431 monsters (and counting). In addtion, there is quite a large list of optional adventurer’s equipment, a log book of hundreds of games played since 1981 with custom illustrations and artwork, links to youtube videos from the upcoming DM Superelf Channel, original modules, and blog posts. Later I may add other links such as house rules, character sheets, a combat resolution calculator, etc.
